Eating away at you like a wendigo

One moment everything’s great

Then your body aches

The time has gone by, your childhood dies

You remember times of fun and little white lies

Those days are now simply a memory

This pain fills your being with misery

In every joint agony is felt

You, your life, your self begins to melt

Succumbing to the beast

Your body becomes its feast

Whimpers of too young lips. Tired from the screams and sobs. Tired of saying no.
