The Clouds Call to the Winds

The clouds call to the winds of the night

Take us from this place

Blind us to darkness, show us a light

Bring warmth to the bitter cold of space

The winds of night call back

Only a mournful howl is heard

Light shines only through a crack

The wind gives no word

The clouds cry in despair

Their plea has been denied

Now rain is in the air

And the winds promise has all but lied.

I come in bunches Box chalk full We all clamor and cling Yet you still pull I look like my sisters Like my cousins too Until you pull me...

Heartbreak at nine Your words in my head Nails bit short I rot in my bed. Sweet promise of love How could you leave! I lay here to die...

"Shut up. "

Whimpers of too young lips. Tired from the screams and sobs. Tired of saying no.
