"The Sands of Time"

The sands of time,

Time moves ever so slow,

Like sands in an hourglass,

With each moment that passes,

I grow ever so tired of waiting,

For my time to come,

My moments in the bright neon,

Of bigger and better things to come,

The sand whispers,

Wait, wait, wait,

The neon lights are calling me,

As the sands of time thud loudly,

Telling me I may not have to wait,

Anymore,

But, what do I do to get there,

I wish the sands of time would,

Guide me somehow?

"Shut up. "

Whimpers of too young lips. Tired from the screams and sobs. Tired of saying no.
