Writing Tranquility

For writing any type of work, the best pieces are done in a comfortable setting for you. Every writer has a different type of environment they work best in.

Some work alone in quiet in their house. Others work in public spaces where a lot of noise is made, maybe even listening to music while writing.

Either way, all writers have their comfortable writing places, and this article "7 Tips to Create an Inspiring Writing Space and Workstation" by Tom Corson-Knowles from TCK Publishing, helps you figure out a good working space to set up.

If you're trying to make a writing space in a house, first find what room you like writing in the most, and a good addition to that room is a plant, "nothing inspires the soul quite like nature" ( Knowles). Another helpful tip is to make sure that the room is clean all the time and has a window to bring in natural light. With the room being dirty the "clutter also causes stress which can negatively affect your work" (Knowles).

Choosing the right light source for the room can really help with your mood to write. Of course, all of this depends on the type of person you are and what makes you comfortable to help show off your best writing abilities.
